Why is the Side-by-Side Comparison button grayed out?

  1. Confirm that at least two workbook windows are currently open.
  2. Return to either workbook and click the View tab to check the option again.
  3. If it is still unavailable, close and reopen the workbooks, then try again.

Why are the two windows not scrolling together?

  1. First confirm that Side-by-Side Comparison is enabled.
  2. Check whether Synchronous Scrolling is turned on.
  3. If it is on but the effect is not obvious, manually move both workbooks to similar areas and review again.

How to compare two spreadsheets side by side in WPS if the layout still looks uneven after Reset Position?

  1. Confirm that both workbook windows are in a normal visible state rather than minimized.
  2. Click Reset Position and check whether the windows return to a left-and-right layout.
  3. If screen space is limited, maximize the WPS window first and then reset the layout again.
