1. Set the reply/forward subject prefix
Entry path: Mail Settings → Sending Settings → Reply/Forward Subject Prefix
- Open WPS Mail and click the settings button in the upper-right corner to open Mail Settings.
- In the left navigation pane, select Sending Settings.
- Find the Reply/Forward Subject Prefix section.
- Open the drop-down list and choose the prefix format you want: Chinese prefixes, English prefixes, or Use current language.
- After you make a selection, the setting is saved automatically and takes effect immediately.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The drop-down list shows the prefix option you selected.
- What you can do next: New replies and forwarded emails use the selected subject-prefix rule.
- No side effects: Existing email subjects are not changed.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you open a different settings page, you may not see the Reply/Forward Subject Prefix option. Switch back to Sending Settings first.
- Environment note: If mail data is not loaded or synced normally, check your network connection and reopen the settings page.
