Does text selection translation require an internet connection?
- Yes. Text selection translation requires an internet connection.
- If no result appears, first check whether your phone is connected to the internet.
- After the connection is restored, select the text again and tap Translate.
Why can't I see the Translate button after selecting text?
- Make sure the document is open in a mode where text can be selected in WPS collaborative text mode.
- Press and hold again to select a word or sentence, then wait for the floating toolbar.
- If the button still does not appear, update WPS Office and reopen the document.
Will translation replace the original text directly?
- No.
- The translation result is shown only in a pop-up panel for viewing.
- When you return to the document, the original text remains unchanged.
What kind of content can I translate?
- You can translate selected words, short phrases, or sentences in the document.
- Select the text you want to understand, then tap Translate.
- If you want to view another language, switch the language in the translation panel.
