1. Start AI Read Aloud

Entry: Edit mode → Tools → Review → AI Read Aloud; or View → AI Read Aloud; or top menu More → All Services → AI Read Aloud

Open the document you want to listen to.
Tap Tools at the bottom.
Tap AI Read Aloud under Review or View, or open More at the top and then All Services to find AI Read Aloud.
The document starts reading aloud automatically.

Success Criteria

Interface result: The AI Read Aloud control panel appears and document playback starts.
Next action available: You can pause, stop, or open settings to adjust reading options.

Tips While Using

Common issue: If you are not inside a document page, the AI Read Aloud entry may not appear.
Environment note: This feature requires an internet connection.

2. Control Reading Settings

Entry: AI Read Aloud control panel → Play / Pause / Settings / AI Voice

After AI Read Aloud starts, tap Play to begin or resume reading.
Tap Pause to stop temporarily, or tap Stop to end reading.
Tap AI Voice to switch voices or languages.
Tap Settings to adjust the sleep timer and reading speed.
Use your device volume buttons or the panel slider to adjust volume.

Success Criteria

Interface result: Changes in the control panel take effect immediately and the reading status updates with your actions.
Next action available: You can continue switching voices, adjusting speed, or ending playback.

Tips While Using

Membership note: Some AI voices require WPS membership.
Environment note: For long documents, keep the app in the foreground to reduce interruptions from system cleanup.
