2. Transfer document ownership from the file action menu
Entry: Open the document → File Action button at the upper left → Document Management → Transfer Document Ownership
- Open the collaborative document whose ownership you want to transfer.
- Click the File Action button at the upper left.
- Select Document Management.
- Click Transfer Document Ownership.
- Choose the transfer method and complete the confirmation.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Transfer Document Ownership entry appears in Document Management.
- Next action available: You can enter the transfer flow and choose a recipient.

3. Transfer document ownership from the WPS home page
Entry: My Cloud Documents → Share on the right side of the document → Document Management → Transfer Document Ownership
- Open the WPS home page and find the target document in My Cloud Documents.
- Click the blue Share button on the right side of the document.
- Click Document Management and then Transfer Document Ownership.
- Choose contact-based transfer or link-based transfer.
- Confirm the action to complete the ownership transfer.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can open Share and Document Management directly from the home page document list.
- Next action available: You can complete the transfer flow without opening the document body first.
- No side effect: Other documents that are not selected are not affected.
Tips While Using
