Entry path: Global Settings → Settings → Save Work Status on Exit
- On the WPS Home screen, click the Global Settings button in the upper-right area. Its icon is
≡. - Click Settings.
- Turn on Save Work Status on Exit.
- Exit WPS normally.
- Start WPS again and check whether all previously open tabs and editing state have been restored.
- If you use integrated mode, save the tab list as a workspace for later sync use.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: After WPS starts again, you can see the document tabs that were open before exit.
- Next action available: You can continue editing without reopening each file one by one.
- No unwanted side effect: Existing file content is not replaced just because this setting is turned on.
