Entry: WPS Home > Global Settings in the top-right corner > Settings > Double Click to Close Tab
- Open the WPS Office desktop app and go to the home screen.
- Click the global settings button in the top-right corner. Its icon is
≡. - Click Settings.
- Find Double Click to Close Tab and turn the switch on.
- Return to the document tab bar.
- Double-click any open document tab to close the current file.
- If the document has unsaved changes, choose the save option shown in the prompt.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: the setting is enabled, and the current document tab disappears after you double-click it.
- You can continue: other open documents remain available for viewing or editing.
- No unwanted effect: unsaved changes still trigger a save prompt before the file closes.
