1. Run the Integrity Check

Entry path: Top-right Global Settings button → Settings → Installation Directory Integrity Check near the bottom of the page

  1. Open the WPS client.
  2. Click the Global Settings button at the top right of the window.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and click Installation Directory Integrity Check.
  5. Wait for the system to start the scan automatically and show the progress bar.
  6. Review the result dialog after the check finishes.
  7. If needed, click Cancel during the process to stop the current check.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A progress bar appears during the scan, and a result dialog appears when the check is complete.
  • Next action: You can continue using WPS or move on to repair or reinstall troubleshooting if needed.
  • No side effect: The check only reviews installation file completeness and does not affect your document content.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not scroll to the bottom of the Settings page, you may miss the Installation Directory Integrity Check entry.
