Last updated:July 23, 2026

When using Switch to Application Mode, 3 common question types include mode differences, view display, and data impact; this section covers 3 frequent questions and a glossary.

FAQ

What is the difference between Application Mode and Classic Mode?

  1. Application Mode is better for concentrated mobile browsing of data tables, dashboards, and frequently used views.
  2. Classic Mode shows Data Table and Dashboard at the top and uses the view list in the lower-left area for switching.
  3. If you focus on faster mobile browsing and entry, use Application Mode. If you prefer the earlier layout, switch back to Classic Mode.

Will switching modes affect my existing data?

  1. Switching modes changes the display layout and does not directly modify the data in the Bitable.
  2. After switching, you can still open a specific view, review the data list, and continue adding data.
  3. If needed, open the same view before and after switching to confirm the result.

Why can’t I find the Switch to Application Mode option?

  1. First confirm that you opened a Bitable instead of a regular document, spreadsheet, or another file type.
  2. Then make sure you are already inside the Bitable page and have opened the upper-right More menu.
  3. If the option still does not appear, update WPS Office and reopen the target Bitable.
