How-to Guide

1. Copy a view from the view context menu

Entry: Left-side view list → click the ... button next to the target view → Copy View

  1. Open the target multidimensional table and find the table that contains the target view in the left-side table area.
  2. In the left-side view list, find the view that you want to copy.
  3. Click the ... more options button next to that view.
  4. In the pop-up menu, select Copy View.
  5. A new view with the same configuration as the original view is created under the current view.
  6. If needed, double-click the new view name and rename it.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new view appears in the left-side view list.
  • Configuration result: The new view keeps the original view's filters, sorting, grouping, and field visibility settings.
  • Next action: You can continue renaming or adjusting the new view.

Tips While Using

  • Copy View duplicates the view configuration, not a separate copy of the underlying data.
  • The new view is created only inside the current table and is not used for cross-table copying.
  • The new view name is usually based on the original view name, so renaming it promptly can make later management easier.
