1. Add a Matrix Bubble Chart component to a dashboard

Entry: Dashboard interface → "+ Add Component" → Chart → "Matrix Bubble Chart"

  1. Open the dashboard interface.
  2. Click "+ Add Component" in the upper-left area.
  3. In the component panel, find "Matrix Bubble Chart" under the Chart category.
  4. Click the icon to generate a default Matrix Bubble Chart component.
  5. Click the component to enter edit mode and continue with data setup.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new Matrix Bubble Chart component appears in the dashboard.
  • Next action available: You can open the editing panel and continue with data and style settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you are not in the dashboard page, you may not see the "+ Add Component" entry.

2. Edit or export the chart

Entry: Click the added chart → top-right "..." icon

  1. Click the added Matrix Bubble Chart.
  2. Click the top-right "..." icon to open the menu.
  3. Select "Configure" to update chart data or style settings.
  4. Select "Copy" to duplicate the current chart.
  5. Select "Copy as Picture" to copy the chart as an image.
  6. Select "Export as Picture" to save the chart as an image file.
  7. If you no longer need the chart, select "Delete".

3. Configure chart data

Entry: Matrix Bubble Chart editing panel → "Type & Data" tab

  1. Open the Matrix Bubble Chart editing panel.
  2. Switch to the "Type & Data" tab.
  3. In "Data Source," select the table you want to use.
  4. Click "Data Filter" to set the data range or filter conditions.
  5. In "Dimension (X-axis)," select the horizontal-axis field.
  6. In "Dimension (Y-axis)," select the vertical-axis field.
  7. In "Bubble Size," select the field that controls bubble size.
  8. Show or hide fields under the detail display settings as needed.
  9. Review the preview pane on the left, then click "OK" to apply the settings.

Entry: Matrix Bubble Chart editing panel → "Chart Style" tab

  1. Open the Matrix Bubble Chart editing panel.
  2. Switch to the "Chart Style" tab.

  4. Expand "Series Color" and customize each series color as needed.
  5. Expand "Chart Elements" to set display units, number format, bubble size, and related display options.
  6. Review the preview pane on the left.
