1. Select the action
Entry: Select an Action panel → Branch category → Branch
- In step 2 of the automation editor, open the Select an Action panel.
- Click Branch under the Branch category.
- After selection, the Configure Parameters panel appears on the right.
- The canvas shows the visual structure for Branch 1 and Branch 2.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the Configure Parameters area appears on the right.
- Next step available: at least two initial branches are visible on the canvas.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: selecting the wrong action category prevents the branch structure from appearing.
- Environment note: you need to open the table automation editor first.
2. Configure parameters
Entry: Configure Parameters panel → Set branch conditions area
- In the Configure Parameters panel, choose a field for Branch 1 from the drop-down list.
- Select an operator and enter the comparison value.
- Click + Branch Condition if you need more conditions in the same branch.
- Configure Branch 2 in the same way.
- Click + Add Branch if you need more execution paths.
- Click Save and Enable to finish the setup.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: each branch shows its configured condition content.
- Next step available: the flow can be saved and enabled, and you can continue adding actions under each branch.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: incomplete conditions can prevent the flow from working as expected.
- Environment note: review the logic of each branch before saving the flow.
