How-to Guide
1. Set a cell text display mode
Entry: Home → Wrap Text
- Select the cell or range where you want to change the display mode.
- Tap Home at the bottom of the screen.
- In the expanded menu, find and tap the Wrap Text area.
- Choose Wrap, Clip, or Overflow as needed.
- Tap the option you want to apply it to the selected cell or range.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the text display style of the selected cell or range changes.
- What you can do next: you can continue editing content, adjusting column width, or switching to another display mode.
- No side effect: the actual text stored in the cell does not change.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if no cell or range is selected first, the setting may not apply to the intended content.
- Environment note: in Overflow mode, text may cover the visible area of neighboring cells.
- Usage tip: Wrap adjusts the number of visible lines automatically based on column width.
