1. Set row height or column width from the Row and Column menu

Entry: Insert → Row and Column drop-down

  1. Select the row or column that you want to adjust.
  2. Click the Insert tab and open the Row and Column drop-down.
  3. Select Row Height or Column Width.
  4. Enter the target value in the input box.
  5. Confirm the change.

Tips While Using

  • Row height is measured in points, and the default value is 13.5 points.

Entry: Right-click a row number or column label

  1. Select the target row or column.
  2. Right-click the row number or column label to open the shortcut menu.
  3. Select Row Height to change row height, or select Column Width to change column width.
  4. Enter the target value and confirm it.

  • The shortcut menu is useful for quickly adjusting the current row, column, or a continuous selection.

3. Use auto-fit row height or column width to match content automatically

Entry: Insert → Row and Column, or the right-click shortcut menu

  1. Select the rows or columns that need to fit their content.
  2. Open the Row and Column menu or the right-click shortcut menu.
  3. Select Auto Fit Row Height or Auto Fit Column Width.

  4. Release the mouse to apply the change.
