1. Manually Drag to Adjust Row Height

Entry point: Drag the lower border of the row header

  1. Open a smart spreadsheet file and select the row you want to adjust.
  2. Touch and hold the corresponding row border on the left side of the row header.
  3. Drag up or down to adjust the row height in real time.
  4. Release your finger to finish the adjustment.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target row height changes, and the visible content area becomes larger or smaller.
  • What you can do next: You can continue editing cell content or switch to another row for more adjustments.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not press the row border accurately, you may only select the row instead of entering resize mode.
  • Tip: If multiple rows need the same height, select them first and then drag the border.

2. Manually Drag to Adjust Column Width

Entry point: Drag the side border of the column header

  1. Open a WPS spreadsheet file and select the column you want to adjust.
  2. Touch and hold the right border of the column header.
  3. Drag left or right to adjust the column width in real time.
  4. Release your finger to finish the adjustment.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target column width changes, and the visible range of cell content changes with it.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: When a column is too narrow, numbers may display as ###, so continue dragging to the right to widen the column.
