How-to Guide
1. Create a Related Collection Sheet
Entry: Collaboration tab → Related Collection Sheet
- Click the Collaboration tab at the top.
- Click Related Collection Sheet on the toolbar.
- In the panel on the right, choose Use header row to create a collection sheet or Link an existing collection sheet.
- Complete the creation or linking flow based on your needs.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the Related Collection Sheet creation panel appears on the right.
- Next action available: you can continue creating a new collection sheet or linking an existing one.
Tips While Using
- It is helpful to organize the header fields before creating a collection sheet from the header row.
- Keep the network connection stable during creation and linking.
2. Manage Collected Data
Entry: Related Collection Sheet panel on the right
- Open the worksheet that is already linked to a collection sheet.
- In the Related Collection Sheet panel on the right, review the submitted records.
- Check whether the data has filled the corresponding worksheet columns automatically.
- Review submitter details and submission time as needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: submitted records are visible in the side panel.
- Next action available: you can continue filtering, organizing, or analyzing the data in the worksheet.
Tips While Using
- If you plan to keep collecting data over time, avoid changing the linked field structure casually.
- Before deleting records in the worksheet, confirm whether the original submitted results still need to be kept.
3. Edit a Related Collection Sheet
Entry: Collaboration tab → Related Collection Sheet
- Click the Collaboration tab at the top.
- Click Related Collection Sheet on the toolbar.
- In the panel on the right, click the edit icon to edit the collection sheet again.
- If you want to unlink it, click the more icon and complete the unlink action.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: you can enter the edit state or complete the unlink action.
- Next action available: after editing, you can continue publishing and collecting data; after unlinking, the current worksheet no longer receives new submissions from that collection sheet.
Tips While Using
- Before unlinking, confirm whether the historical data in the current worksheet has already been backed up or organized.
- If the linked item is an existing collection sheet, be careful not to disrupt an active submission flow while editing it.
