1. Calculate periodic payments with the PMT function

Entry path: Formulas tab → formula bar

  1. Open WPS Spreadsheet and select the cell where you want the result to appear.
  2. Type = in the formula bar or directly in the cell to begin the formula.
  3. Type PMT( and review the automatic syntax guidance and argument hints.
  4. Enter the required arguments, such as the interest rate, number of payment periods, and present value.
  5. Press Enter to confirm the formula, and the result appears in the selected cell.
