Entry: Home tab → Merge & Center
- Select the adjacent cells that you want to merge.
- Click Merge & Center on the Home tab.
- If you need a specific merge mode, click the arrow below the button.
- Select Merge & Center, Merge Content, Merge Across, or Merge Same Cells as needed.

- Click the drop-down arrow below Merge & Center.
- Click Unmerge Cells, or choose Split and Fill Content if needed.
