1. Use the IMTAN function

Entry path: Formulas tab → formula bar

  1. Open WPS Spreadsheets and select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
  2. Type = in the formula bar or directly in the cell to start the formula.
  3. Type IMTAN( and review the syntax prompt that appears automatically.
  4. Enter the required parameter as prompted, then press Enter to return the result in the cell.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the selected cell displays the IMTAN calculation result.
  • Next action available: you can copy the formula, edit the parameter, or fill it into other cells.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: start the formula with = and make sure the parentheses are paired correctly.
  • Environment note: if a referenced cell contains an unsupported value format, the result may not display as expected.
