1. Hide rows or columns

Entry: Floating row or column toolbar → More Actions → Hide Row/Column

  1. Open a spreadsheet file and select the row number or column label that you want to hide.
  2. Open the floating row or column editing toolbar.
  3. Tap More Actions.
  4. Select Hide Row/Column.
  5. If you want to hide multiple rows or columns at once, drag to select multiple targets first and then apply the hide action.

Success Criteria

  • Visual result: The selected row or column is no longer visible in the current worksheet view.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing visible areas or unhide the hidden range later.
  • No data loss: The worksheet data remains in place after the row or column is hidden.

Tips While Using

2. Manage hidden rows or columns

Entry: Select the adjacent rows or columns on both sides of the hidden area → Floating row or column toolbar → More Actions → Unhide Row/Column

  1. Select the adjacent rows or columns on both sides of the hidden area.
  2. Open the floating row or column editing toolbar.
  3. Tap More Actions.
  4. Select Unhide Row/Column.
  5. Confirm that the previously hidden rows or columns appear again.
