1. Hide rows or columns
Entry path: Floating row and column toolbar → More actions → Hide Row/Column
- Open a spreadsheet file and select the row header or column header that you want to hide.
- Open the floating row and column toolbar.
- Tap More actions.
- Select Hide Row/Column.
- To hide multiple targets at once, drag to select multiple rows or columns before applying the command.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected row or column is no longer visible in the current worksheet view.
- Next action available: You can continue editing visible areas or unhide the hidden section later.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you select only cell content instead of the row header or column header, the row or column action may not appear as expected.
- Environment note: Make sure the sheet is in editing mode first.
2. Manage hidden rows or columns
Entry path: Select the adjacent rows/columns around the hidden area → Floating row and column toolbar → More actions → Unhide Row/Column
- Find the adjacent rows or columns on both sides of the hidden area.
- Select those adjacent rows or columns together.
- Open the floating row and column toolbar and tap More actions.
- Select Unhide Row/Column.
- Confirm that the hidden rows or columns are visible again.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The previously hidden rows or columns appear again in the worksheet.
- Next action available: You can continue editing the restored data or hide it again if needed.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not select the adjacent rows or columns on both sides of the hidden area, the target section may not be restored correctly.
