Why can’t I find the Area Permissions entry?
- Make sure you are working in a WPS Spreadsheet worksheet instead of another WPS component.
- Check whether the Collaboration tab is visible at the top.
- On the Collaboration tab, click Protect Area and then choose Area Permissions.
- If the entry still does not appear, update WPS Office and try again.
Can I turn on Area Permissions without using a password?
- Open Settings in the Protect Area panel.
- Go to Set Password.
- Select No Password.
- Click OK to save the setting.
How do I let only selected members edit one part of a worksheet?
- Click + Add Protected Range first.
- Set the protection scope to the target cell range.
- Choose Selected Users Can View/Edit in the permission settings.
