1. Switch to Landscape Reading with device rotation
Entry: Automatic device rotation after Rotation Lock is turned off
- Make sure Rotation Lock is turned off on your device.
- Open a spreadsheet in WPS Office.
- Hold the device horizontally.
- The screen switches to a landscape layout and shows more spreadsheet columns.
- To leave this mode, tap Exit Reading on the side toolbar.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the spreadsheet is displayed horizontally and more columns are visible.
- What you can do next: continue reviewing the spreadsheet and exit with Exit Reading when needed.
- No side effect: the spreadsheet does not enter direct editing mode.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if Rotation Lock is on, holding the device horizontally will not switch the screen automatically.
- Environment note: the device must support portrait and landscape rotation.
2. Switch to Landscape Reading from reading mode
Entry: Landscape Reading on the bottom toolbar in reading mode
- Open a spreadsheet and enter reading mode.
- Tap Landscape Reading on the bottom toolbar.
- Review the spreadsheet in the wider landscape reading view.
- To leave this mode, tap Exit Reading on the top toolbar.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: reading mode switches to the Landscape Reading screen.
- What you can do next: continue reviewing the spreadsheet and return to the previous reading screen when needed.
- No side effect: the original spreadsheet content is not changed.
