Hide Worksheet in WPS on iOS FAQ

Last updated:July 20, 2026

When using Hide Worksheet, the most common questions fall into 3 areas: whether data stays in place, what collaborators can see, and why at least one sheet must remain visible. This section includes 3 common answers and a glossary.

FAQ

Does the data stay after I hide a worksheet?

  1. Yes. After you hide a worksheet, its data remains in the current workbook.
  2. Hiding only removes the worksheet tab from the tab bar.
  3. After you use Unhide from the All Sheets list, you can view the original content again.

Can other collaborators see a worksheet that I hid?

  1. The hidden state affects how the same file is displayed, so other collaborators do not see that worksheet directly in the tab bar when they open the file.
  2. If they need to view it again, they need to unhide it in a supported environment.
  3. For shared presentations of results, you can hide intermediate worksheets and keep result sheets visible.

Why can’t I hide every worksheet in the workbook?

  1. A workbook must keep at least one worksheet visible.
  2. When only one worksheet remains visible, that worksheet cannot be hidden.
  3. If you need to rearrange visibility, unhide another worksheet first and then adjust which sheets stay hidden.
