When you use Hide Worksheet in WPS on Android, 3 common question types come up most often: whether data stays in place, how visibility works in collaboration, and why one visible sheet must remain; this FAQ covers 3 common questions.
FAQ
Does the data stay after I hide a worksheet?
- Yes. The worksheet data remains in the current workbook after the worksheet is hidden.
- Hiding only removes the worksheet tab from the visible tab bar.
- You can show the worksheet again through Unhide in the full worksheet list and continue working with the original data.
Can other collaborators see a worksheet that I hid?
- After a worksheet is hidden, it does not appear directly in the visible tab bar of the file.
- Other collaborators opening the same file will not see that worksheet directly in the tab bar either.
- If someone has the needed editing access and uses the unhide action, the worksheet can be shown again.
Why can’t I hide the last visible worksheet?
- A workbook needs to keep at least one worksheet visible.
- If only one visible worksheet remains, the hide action cannot continue for that sheet.
- If you want a cleaner tab layout, keep one main worksheet visible and hide the others.
