1. Create a copy of the current worksheet
Entry point: Sheet floating toolbar → Copy
- Tap the worksheet tab that you want to copy to open the floating toolbar.
- Tap Copy on the floating toolbar.
- WPS creates a worksheet copy with the same content after the current worksheet.
- Check the new worksheet name. The copy uses the original name with a sequential suffix such as (1), (2), or (3).
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new worksheet tab appears after the original worksheet.
- Content result: The new worksheet keeps the same content, formatting, formulas, and conditional formatting as the original sheet.
- Next actions available: You can continue editing, renaming, or moving the copied worksheet.
Tips While Using
- If the worksheet contains a large amount of data, the copy may take a short time to finish.
- After the copy is created, the original worksheet and the copied worksheet do not sync automatically.
- It is helpful to rename the copied worksheet soon after creation so different versions are easier to identify.
