- You need edit permission for the data table to create the field.
2. Check the automatic Last Modified By result

3. Tell Last Modified By apart from Created By
Entry: Compare system field results in the data table
- Review the Created By and Last Modified By related fields in the data table.
- Find a record that has been edited by more than one person.
- Compare the user who created the record with the user who edited it most recently.
- Use the difference to identify the original source and the latest maintainer of the record.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: you can clearly distinguish the original creator from the latest editor.
- What you can do next: use the result for accountability checks, collaboration follow-up, or review work.
Tips While Using
- Created By and Last Modified By may show the same person or different people.
- Last Modified By is for tracking the latest editor, not for permission control.
