1. Insert an add-in from the Insert menu

Entry path: Insert tab → Add-in → Interactive Guide Card

1. Place the cursor where you want to insert the add-in.
2. Click Insert on the ribbon.
3. Select Add-in.
4. Click Interactive Guide Card to finish adding it.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: An interactive guide card appears at the current cursor position.

2. Insert an add-in from the paragraph plus handle

Entry path: paragraph-side + handle → Add-in → Interactive Guide Card

1. Place the cursor where you want to insert the add-in.
2. Click the + handle on the left side of the paragraph.
3. Select Add-in from the menu.
4. Select Interactive Guide Card to finish adding it.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: A new interactive guide card block appears near the selected paragraph.

3. Edit an interactive guide card

1. Click the interactive guide card that has already been inserted.
2. Click Edit on the floating toolbar.
3. Add or remove these interaction options as needed: Share Document, Favorite Document, and Follow Document Updates.
4. Return to the document after the settings are complete.
