FAQ

Why can’t I find the text style controls?

  1. Make sure the current file is open as a smart document in editing mode.
  2. Tap Edit in the lower-right corner.
  3. Tap inside the document text, then check whether the Aa icon appears at the bottom.
  4. If it still does not appear, reopen the document or update WPS Office to the latest version.

Can I apply multiple text styles at the same time?

  1. Select the target text first.
  2. Open the bottom Aa panel.
  3. Tap bold, italic, underline, color, or other styles one by one.
  4. Return to the document and review the combined result.

What is the difference between font color and highlight color?

  1. Font color changes the color of the text itself.
  2. Highlight color changes the background color behind the text.
  3. If you want to emphasize keywords, highlight color is often the better choice.
  4. If you want to separate levels of content or mark status, font color is often more suitable.

Does strikethrough actually delete the text?

  1. Strikethrough is only a display style.
  2. After you apply it, the original text remains in the document.
  3. If you want to remove content completely, delete the text directly instead of only applying strikethrough.
