2. Insert a Task List from the Ribbon
Entry: Editing area → ribbon → Task List icon
- Place the cursor where you want to insert the task list.
- Click the Task List icon on the ribbon.
- Enter the task text and press Enter to add the next task item automatically.

- Interface result: A task item with a checkbox appears at the cursor position.

4. Convert a Paragraph into a Task List
Entry: Select the target paragraph → left paragraph handle → Task List
- Place the cursor in the paragraph you want to adjust, or select the target paragraph first.
- Click the paragraph handle on the left.
- Click Task List.
- Check whether the paragraph has been converted into a task item with a checkbox.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A checkbox appears before the original paragraph and the paragraph changes into task list style.

- Common mistake: If the target paragraph is not selected clearly, the conversion result may appear in an unexpected position.
5. Check or Uncheck a Task
Entry: Click the checkbox on the left side of a task
- Find the task item whose status you want to update.
- Click the checkbox on the left side of the task.
- After the item is checked, the task text shows strikethrough to indicate completion.
- Click the checkbox again to clear it and restore the unfinished state.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Strikethrough appears after checking the task and disappears after unchecking it.
- What you can do next: Switch task status at any time.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Clicking the text itself does not toggle the checkbox. Click the checkbox on the left side instead.
