1. Insert an ordered list with the slash command
Entry point: Document editing area → type / → select the Ordered List icon
- Click a blank line in the document.
- Type
/. - Select Ordered List from the pop-up menu.
- You can also type
/szlbor/numbered listto find the feature faster. - Type your content, then press Enter to continue the next numbered item.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The current line becomes the first item in a numbered list.
- Next actions: Press Enter to keep adding the next numbered item.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you do not type
/on a blank line, the command menu may not appear as expected.- Environment limits: You must be on an editable document page.
2. Insert an ordered list from the ribbon
Entry point: Document editing area → ribbon → Ordered List icon
- Place the cursor where you want to insert the ordered list.
- Click the Ordered List icon on the ribbon.
- Type the first item.
- Press Enter to add the next numbered item automatically.
Success Criteria
- UI state: A numbered list appears at the cursor position.
- Next actions: You can continue entering multiple ordered items.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If the cursor is not placed in the target location first, the list will be inserted on the current line instead.
3. Insert an ordered list from the paragraph handle
Entry point: Select the paragraph that you want to turn into an ordered list → click the paragraph handle icon → select Ordered List
- Place the cursor in the target paragraph, or select multiple paragraphs first.
- Click the paragraph handle icon on the left side.
- Click the Ordered List icon.
- Check whether the selected paragraph content has been converted into a numbered list.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The original paragraph content is converted into numbered list formatting.
- Next actions: You can continue adding, deleting, or adjusting list content.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you do not select the target paragraph first, the action may apply only to the current paragraph.
4. Insert an ordered list from the Insert menu
Entry point: Document editing area → ribbon → Insert drop-down menu → Ordered List icon
- Place the cursor where you want to insert the ordered list.
- Click the Insert drop-down menu on the ribbon.
- Click the Ordered List icon.
- Type content, then press Enter to continue the next numbered item.

- UI state: A new numbered list appears in the document.
- Next actions: You can keep entering additional items.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you click another insert option by mistake, return to the Insert menu and choose Ordered List again.
