1. Set a Content Protection Zone

Entry: Bottom toolbar → "+" → "Content Protection Zone"

  1. Go to the paragraph area that you want to protect.
  2. Tap the "+" button in the bottom toolbar.
  3. Select "Content Protection Zone" from the pop-up menu.
  4. Wait for the protected mark to appear for that area.
  5. After setup is complete, only the owner can edit content inside the protected zone.

Success Criteria

  • Visual result: the target area shows a protection mark.
  • What you can do next: you can continue browsing the document or set protection for other areas.
  • No side effect: other content outside the protected zone remains editable.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: turning on protection before positioning the cursor in the intended paragraph area may protect a different range than expected.

2. Remove a Content Protection Zone

Entry: Select the protected zone → "Remove Protection"

  1. Tap the area that already has Content Protection Zone enabled.
  2. Select "Remove Protection" from the pop-up menu.
  3. Wait for the protection mark to disappear.
  4. Confirm that the area returns to normal editing status.
