When using Download, common questions usually focus on formatting, file size, and confirming the export result; this FAQ covers 3 frequent questions and a short glossary.
FAQ
Will the exported file keep the original formatting?
- After export, the document is saved as a fixed-layout PDF file.
- Regular text, layout, and most document content are kept in the export result.
- If the document contains some Smart Document-specific elements, the exported result may look different from the editing view, so review the PDF after export.
Is there a file size limit for the exported PDF?
- File size usually depends on document content, image count, and page complexity.
- Larger or more complex documents may take longer to export.
- If you plan to send the file, check the PDF size after export and then choose a suitable sharing method.
Why can't I find the Export as PDF option?
- First, make sure you are in the Smart Document editing screen.
- Check whether the top area shows Share or whether the upper-right corner shows More (☰).
- If the option still does not appear, update WPS Office and reopen the document.
