  1. Open the Smart Form you want to edit.
  2. Enter the form editing view.
  3. Select File Collection in the left navigation area.
  4. Find Formula and open it for editing.

  • Next action available: You can continue to set parameters.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If you are not in File Collection, the Formula entry may not appear.
  • Environment note: You need permission to edit the current form.

2. Set formula parameters

Entry path: Formula panel

  1. Review the editable items in the Formula panel.
  2. Enter or adjust the required parameters based on the on-screen prompts.
  3. Check that the parameter content is complete.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The parameter content appears in the current formula configuration area.
  • Next action available: You can move on to preview or confirmation.

  • Common issue: Incomplete parameters may lead to an unexpected result later.

3. Preview the formula effect

Entry path: Preview or effect confirmation area in the Formula panel

  1. After setting parameters, review the current preview result.
  2. Compare the displayed effect with your expected result.
  3. If needed, go back and adjust the parameters again.

  • Interface result: You can see the effect of the current formula configuration.
  • Next action available: If everything looks correct, you can save it directly.

  • Common issue: Saving before checking the preview may require another round of edits.

4. Save the formula configuration

Entry path: Formula panel → Confirm

  1. Confirm that the parameters and preview result are correct.
  2. Click Confirm to finish the action.
  3. Return to the editor and continue with the rest of the form setup.

  • Interface result: The Formula panel closes or returns to the editor.
  • Next action available: The form can continue to be edited, previewed, or published.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If you close the panel without clicking Confirm, the changes may not be kept.
