How-to Guide
1. Upgrade an item
Entry point: Design tab → Upgrade
- Select the item that you want to upgrade.
- Click the Design tab at the top of the window.
- Find and click Upgrade.
- Check whether the item has moved up one level.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected item moves to a higher hierarchy level.
- Next action available: You can continue adjusting other items.
Tips While Using
- An item at the top level cannot be upgraded further.
- Upgrading changes the hierarchy relationship between the current item and other items.
2. Downgrade an item
Entry point: Design tab → Downgrade
- Select the item that you want to downgrade.
- Click the Design tab at the top of the window.
- Find and click Downgrade.
- Check whether the item has moved down one level.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected item moves to a lower hierarchy level.
- Next action available: You can continue adjusting other items in the same graphic.
Tips While Using
- Downgrading changes the item into lower-level content.
- After downgrading, the item may become a child item of the previous peer item.
3. Change position from the floating toolbar
Entry point: Floating toolbar → Change Position → Upgrade / Downgrade
- Select the item that you want to adjust.
- On the floating toolbar, click Change Position.
- Choose Upgrade or Downgrade as needed.
- Check whether the hierarchy level updates as expected.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The item hierarchy changes immediately.
- Next action available: You can continue adjusting other items without switching to the top tab.
Tips While Using
- The floating toolbar entry is useful for quick edits.
- Before adjusting, confirm that the correct item is selected to avoid changing the wrong object.
