What is the Text Pane used for?

  1. The Text Pane shows graphic content in an outline view.
  2. You can edit, add, and delete items quickly in the pane.

How do I change item levels in the Text Pane?

  1. Select the target item in the Text Pane first.
  2. Press Tab to demote the item to a lower level.
  3. Press Shift+Tab to promote the item to a higher level.
  4. If needed, you can also use related level adjustment actions after selecting the item.

What should I do if the Text Pane content does not sync with the graphic?

  1. Confirm that you are editing the currently selected WPS Art graphic.
  2. After changing content in the Text Pane, check whether the graphic updates automatically.
  3. If the change does not appear right away, reopen the Text Pane or click another area of the graphic and check again.

How do I close the Text Pane?

  1. Click the × close button in the upper-right corner of the Text Pane.
  2. Or click Text Pane again on the Design tab.
  3. If you need it again later, reopen it from either entry.
