1. Add a description
Entry: Right-click a WPS Art object → Set Object Format
- Select the WPS Art graphic that you want to describe.
- Right-click the graphic.
- Select Set Object Format.
- In the Object Properties panel on the right, select the Size & Properties tab.
- Expand Alt Text.
- Enter the shape title in Title and the description text in Description.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Alt Text section is visible in the Object Properties area.
- Next action available: You can continue editing the title and description.
Tips While Using
- The description text does not appear directly on the slide during playback.
- It is helpful to keep the description short and clear for important graphics.
2. Set a description from the side task pane
Entry: Side task pane → Object Properties
- Select the graphic that you want to describe.
- Click Object Properties in the side pane.
- Find the alt text related settings in the Object Properties panel.
- Enter or edit the title and description for the graphic.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Object Properties panel lets you edit the description directly.
- Next action available: After editing, you can continue adjusting other object settings.
Tips While Using
- If the graphic is not selected first, the related object settings may not appear.
- It can be more efficient to add descriptions after the graphic content is finalized.
