1. Insert WordArt from the ribbon

Entry point: Insert tab → WordArt

1. Open WPS Presentation and go to the slide you want to edit.
2. Click the Insert tab at the top of the window.
3. Click WordArt.
4. Choose the style you want from the preset WordArt area.
5. Enter your text in the pop-up text box.

Success Criteria

• Visual result: a new WordArt text box appears on the current slide.
• You can continue: the text box can be moved and the text can still be edited.
• No side effect: existing slide content is not replaced automatically.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: if the target slide is not selected first, the WordArt may be inserted on the current slide instead of the intended one.
• For long text: keep the title relatively short so the decorative style remains readable.

2. Change the style of existing WordArt

Entry point: select an inserted WordArt text box → Text Tools tab → drop-down arrow on the right side of the WordArt style area

1. Select the WordArt text box that has already been inserted on the slide.
2. Click the Text Tools tab on the ribbon.
3. Click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the WordArt style area.
4. Choose a new WordArt style from the list.

Success Criteria

• Visual result: the selected WordArt changes to the new style immediately.
• You can continue: you can still adjust its position, size, or text content.
• No side effect: the text itself stays the same while only the style changes.
