FAQ

What is the difference between outer shadow and inner shadow?

  1. Outer shadow appears outside the text edges and is more suitable when you want the text to stand out from the background.
  2. Inner shadow appears inside the text edges and is more suitable for an inset or pressed look.
  3. If you want a title to look more prominent, outer shadow is usually the easier starting point.

How to make text shadow more visible in WPS on Windows?

  1. Open the Shadow settings menu.
  2. Lower the transparency so the shadow becomes more visible.
  3. Increase distance or size, or change the color so the shadow has clearer contrast against the background.

Why can’t I find the text shadow option?

  1. Make sure you have selected actual text instead of a blank area or another object.
  2. Check whether you are in the relevant Text Tools tab.
  3. If the interface does not display normally, save the file, reopen the presentation, and try again.
