1. Set Text Direction
Entry point: Home / Text Tools tab → Paragraph group → Text Direction drop-down menu
- In the slide, double-click the text box to enter editing mode, then select the text box or text you want to adjust.
- Click the Home or Text Tools tab on the top menu bar.
- In the Paragraph group, click the drop-down arrow for Text Direction.
- Select the direction you want, including Horizontal Text, Vertical Text, Rotate All Text 90°, Rotate All Text 270°, or Stacked Text.
- After you choose an option, the text direction in the text box updates immediately.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The text in the text box is rearranged according to the selected direction.
- Next actions: You can continue editing the text, resize the text box, or save the presentation.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If the text box is not selected first, the result may not appear as expected.
- Environment limits: This setting applies to text box content and must be used in the presentation editing view.
