About This Feature

Overview

Text Box is a built-in editing feature in WPS Slides for adding custom text content to a slide. You can open the Text Box command from either the Insert tab or the Home tab, choose a horizontal or vertical text box, then drag on the slide to draw the box and enter text.

This feature is useful for slide titles, captions, callout text, and extra layout text. When you need to place text in a fixed position, resize a text area independently, or arrange text alongside shapes and images, a text box gives you more flexible control.

Overall Conclusion
If your main task is to add and place text quickly in slides, WPS Text Box offers a direct path inside the presentation editor. Microsoft, Google, Notion, and Adobe are better aligned with document layout, online page editing, or PDF editing in their own product contexts.
