Entry point: Insert tab → Text Box
- Open WPS Slides and go to the slide you want to edit.
- Click the Insert tab on the top menu bar.
- Click Text Box.
- Select Horizontal Text Box or Vertical Text Box.
- Drag on the slide to draw the text box area.
- Enter the text you want to display.

2. Insert a text box from the Home tab
Entry point: Home tab → Text Box
- Open WPS Slides and go to the target slide.
- Click the Home tab on the top menu bar.
- Click Text Box.
- Select the text box type you need.
- Drag on the slide to draw the text box.
- Enter your text and check its layout position.
