1. Open the line spacing feature

Feature path: Home tab → ParagraphLine Spacing

  1. Open the target presentation.
  2. Make sure the file is in edit mode.
  3. Select the text or text box content that you want to adjust.
  4. Find the Paragraph area on the Home tab.
  5. Click Line Spacing to open the related options.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A line spacing menu or list of spacing options appears.

2. Apply common line spacing options

3. Open More Settings for advanced adjustments

  2. Select More Settings.

  4. Review the preview effect and confirm that it fits the current slide layout.
  5. Click OK to save the change.

4. Undo or adjust the line spacing again

Feature path: Ctrl+Z or reopen the Line Spacing menu

  1. If the current result does not look right, press Ctrl+Z to undo the last action.
  2. Or select the text again and click Line Spacing.
  3. Choose another spacing option, or open More Settings for further adjustment.
  4. Switch to slideshow preview to check the display result.
