1. Open the Group and Ungroup entry

Entry point: Menu bar → Home tab → Group and Ungroup button

  1. Open an existing presentation or create a new one.
  2. Click the Home tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Find the Group and Ungroup button in the ribbon area.
  4. Make sure the current slide contains editable objects for the next steps.

2. Group multiple objects

Entry point: Select multiple objects → Home tab → Group and Ungroup

  1. On the current slide, select two or more objects with a multi-select action.
  2. Click Group and Ungroup on the Home tab.

  4. Drag the grouped object to confirm the selected items now move together.

3. Ungroup objects

Entry point: Select a grouped object → Home tab → Group and Ungroup

  1. Click the grouped object on the slide.
  2. Open Group and Ungroup from the Home tab.
  3. Choose the Ungroup command.
  4. Click one of the separated objects again to confirm it can now be edited individually.

4. Adjust the layout after grouping

Entry point: Select the grouped object and drag or resize it

  2. Drag it to the target position on the slide.
  3. Adjust the overall size or placement as needed.
  4. If you need to edit one element inside the group, ungroup it first and then continue editing.
