1. Apply Alignment Method
Entry point: Home tab → Paragraph → Alignment Method button
- Open the target presentation and make sure it is in editing mode.
- Select the text box, placeholder, or paragraph content that you want to adjust.
- Find the Paragraph area on the Home tab.
- Click the Alignment Method button to apply the text arrangement you need.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The selected text changes to the chosen paragraph alignment.
- Next actions: You can continue editing the text or save the presentation.
- No side effects: Other unselected slide content is not changed at the same time.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you do not select the target text object first, the button may not affect the intended content.
- Environment limits: The file must be editable. Protected files may prevent paragraph formatting changes.
2. Open Advanced Settings
Entry point: Alignment Method → More Settings
- Open the presentation and select the text content that needs further adjustment.
- Open the Alignment Method entry and choose More Settings.
- Adjust the available advanced options in the settings panel.
- Preview the result and confirm the settings to apply the change.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The settings panel opens and shows adjustable options.
- Next actions: After finishing the setup, you can return to the slide and continue editing, presenting, or saving.
