1. Add a comment from the Review tab

Feature entry: Review → Insert Comment

  1. Select the object or text where you want to add a comment.
  2. Click the Review tab at the top.
  3. Click Insert Comment.
  4. Enter your comment in the pane on the right.
  5. Click Send to finish.

Success Criteria

  • A comment marker appears near the selected object or text.
  • The new comment appears in the comment pane on the right.

2. Add a comment from the Insert tab

6. Edit or reply to a comment

  2. Click the Edit button in the upper-right area of the comment, or enter a reply in the reply area.
  3. Update the comment or type your reply.
  4. Click Send to confirm.

  • The updated content or reply appears in the comment thread.
  • The original comment location stays in place for continued tracking.

7. Delete a single comment

  1. Find the comment you want to remove in the comment pane.
  2. Click the X button in the upper-right corner of the comment.
  3. Confirm that the comment is removed from the list.

Success Criteria

  • The target comment disappears from the comment pane.
  • The related comment marker is no longer shown.

  • Check whether the discussion record is still needed before deleting it.

8. Delete comments in batches

Feature entry: Review → Delete Comment

  1. To remove all comments on the current slide, select the target slide first.
  2. Click the Review tab.
  3. Click the Delete Comment drop-down button.
  4. Select Delete All Markers on Current Slide or Delete All Markers in Presentation.
  5. Check whether comments were cleared in the selected scope.

Success Criteria

  • Comments are removed from the current slide or the whole presentation.
  • The related records in the comment pane are reduced or cleared.
