Entry point: Top-right “≡” icon → Document Encryption → Password Encryption
- Open the presentation file that you want to protect.
- Tap the top-right “≡” icon.
- Select Document Encryption from the list.
- Turn on the Password Encryption switch.
- Enter a password in the pop-up panel.
- If you want to control viewing access, set an Open Password.
- If you want to control editing access, set a Modify Password.
- Tap OK to finish.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The encryption settings are saved and the file is now password protected.
- Next actions: You can continue saving, closing, or sharing the presentation.
- No side effects: Users without the correct password cannot open or modify the file based on the password type you set.

2. Manage existing encryption settings
Entry point: Top-right “≡” icon → Document Encryption
- Open a presentation file that already has password protection.
- Tap the top-right “≡” icon.
- Select Document Encryption from the list.
- Turn off Set Open Password or Set Modify Password as needed.
- Tap Done to save the changes.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The existing password settings are updated or turned off based on your selection.
- Next actions: You can continue editing, saving, or sharing the file.
