1. Undo an action
Entry point: the Undo button at the top of the page (left arrow)
- Open the presentation you want to edit and enter the editing page.
- Find the Undo button near the top of the page.
- Tap Undo to reverse the most recent action.
- To go back through more edits, tap the button again as needed.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The latest edit is reversed.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing or keep using Undo.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Tapping too quickly may reverse more steps than expected, so check the result after each tap.
- Limitation: Undo only works for actions that are still available in the current edit history.
2. Redo an action
Entry point: the Redo button at the top of the page (right arrow)
- Perform at least one Undo action first.
- Find the Redo button near the top of the page.
- Tap Redo to restore the action you just reversed.
- To restore more actions, tap the button again as needed.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The content or action that was just undone appears again.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing or keep using Redo.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you have not used Undo first, Redo may not produce the expected result.
- Limitation: Redo only works within the current undo chain.
