1. Save a Presentation
Entry point: Top menu bar → Save
- After editing the presentation, tap Save in the top menu bar.
- If the current file already has a save location, the file is saved directly to that location.
- If this is the first time you save a new presentation, choose a save path and enter a file name as prompted.
- Return to the presentation and continue editing.
Success Criteria
- Current changes have been written to the file.
- A newly created presentation saved for the first time now has a recognizable file name and save location.
- You can continue editing after saving.
Tips While Using
- Save as needed during editing to reduce the risk of losing content after an interruption.
- If you see a storage warning, clear device storage or choose another available save location.
- If you want to keep the original version, use Save As instead of overwriting the current file.
2. Save As to a Selected Location
Entry point: Top menu bar → More → Save As
- Tap More in the top menu bar.
- Find and tap Save As in the drop-down menu.
- In the Save As screen, choose the file format you need: .pptx or .ppt.
- Choose the target save location.
- Edit the file name if needed.
- Tap Save to complete the action.
Success Criteria
- A new copy of the presentation has been created.
- The new file format, name, and save location match your settings.
- The original file remains available and is not affected by this Save As action.
Tips While Using
- Save As is useful when you want multiple versions or a compatible output format.
- If you choose .ppt, review the page layout and content after saving.
- If the target location is unavailable, choose another accessible save path.
