Why can’t I see the ruler after opening my presentation?

  1. First, confirm that the file is open in the WPS Presentation editing interface.
  2. Click View and check whether Ruler is turned off.
  3. If it still does not appear, confirm that you are in Normal view.

Can I show only the horizontal ruler and hide the vertical ruler?

  1. Click File and open Options.
  2. Open the View section.
  3. Turn off Vertical Ruler and click OK.

What should I do if I don’t see Ruler in the right-click menu?

  1. Move the pointer to a blank area on the slide.
  2. Right-click again to open the menu.
  3. If you still do not see it, use the Ruler entry on the View tab instead.

When is the ruler most useful?

  1. Turn on the ruler when you need to fine-tune the position of text boxes, images, or shapes.
  2. Use both horizontal and vertical rulers when you need to check the relative position of objects against page edges or the center.
  3. After finishing your layout check, turn the ruler off if you want a cleaner editing view.
